Default 3.5L EcoBoost or 5.0 V-8

I'm looking to purchase a pre-owned (2015-16) F-150 Platinum, and I can't decide on which engine to go with. I was hoping to get some advice from folks on the forum. I have driven both trucks and love the sound of the coyote V-8, but also love the gas mileage of the EcoBoost. In terms of durability which should I go with? I will be running mostly highway miles and very rarely pull a trailer. I want to keep this one for quite a while. I would appreciate 2 or 3 reasons why you would choose the engine that you recommend.

Fresh replies are nice but also do a search because this has been beat to death. Plus if you don't plan to tow anything you might want to add the 2.7 in there.

I like them both and they get about the same MPG. I like the way the 3.5TT puts the power down at such low RPM and I like the race car feel and sound of the 5.0. If I wasn't towing heavy, I would want the 2019 SuperCab 2.7.

Either one if buying new, buying used I would go with the 5.0.

Frankly, this has been beat to death. If one of the engines had a clear advantage in every scenario, there would be no debate.
So, since they are both more than capable of any half ton truck work....pick the one you get the best price on or the one that comes with the truck that is optioned exactly like you want.

Buy the one that has the best set of service records.
