Either one works for me but, I'll take the 4WD for ease of mind when it comes to the nasty snowstorms we get.

Snow on the East Coast is completely different from the snow on the west coast. There is no way that a two wheel drive can go where a 4x4 can go in snow over here. Plain and simple, there is no way. I know this from much experience.

I had a two wheel drive Bronco ii, and it was pretty amazing. If you keep up your speed, and know how to drive, you can go places you would never think you can. On the other hand there is still no comparison when it comes to 2x4 and 4x4. I don't care what anyone has done in a 2x4, put that same lift and tires on a 4x4 and see the difference.

In a 2x4 you have to keep speed, and push your truck really hard to keep up with a 4x4. In other words beating it up. Frankly I don't want to beat my truck. Nothing against 2x4's, but I would never buy one. It all depends on your application. If you don't need a 4x4, then don't get one.

4wd for me too; I've got a boat and some ramps are just not going to happen in 2wd. And the snow doesn't bother near as much.

It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

How much is the safety of you and your family worth?

ill be honest there are nice lookin 2wd trucks....But honesltly a lifted 2wd what a joke. 4wd will always own a 2wd and when u go to sell it alot more people want a 4wd and worth alot more.... I consider ALL 2wd trucks cars and lifted ones are lifted cars and POINTLESS
