Default 295/55/20 or 305/55/20

I don't have my 2014 F-150 FX4 SuperCrew leveled or lifted but I want to stuff a little bigger tire on it.

Will 295/55's or 305/55's fit on a stock suspension?

Thanks!

I have 305/50 20's on my FX2 with no rub so I am thinking an extra .6 of inch should clear on your 4X4. I am also using the Stock wheels

I had 305/55/20 duratracs on my 2013. Was pretty close to the upper control arm but never had any rubbing.

Have you considered 275/60 or even 275/65?

You can go up to 34'' with no rubbing, but if you go too wide, you might rub the control arm.

Never thought about that....I had 295/60's on my 2012 SuperCrew FX4 and they rubbed the UCA pretty good.

The 285/65's are .39 inches wider than stock but 2.68" taller(34.59" tall). I wonder how that would fit.

I think the duratrac's don't have as big of tread on the sides of the tires like some of the M/T's do so that would make sense.

Yeah, probably because of the extra width. As I said, 275/65 are 34s and will fit without any issue.

My friend did put 35s on his 2011 F150 and it's rubbing on wide turns, even with a 3'' front and 2'' rear lift. He had to go very wide (315 I think...) in order to reach the 35'' diameter since he has 17'' rims so that's probably why.

If you experience rubbing, you might want to consider spacers, but then you might rub somewhere else! lol

I'm not really going for "height" or anything specific. I'm more looking for a little wider and taller and to fill up my wheel well more than the stock tires do now.

I am now running 285/60/20 duratracs for the winter on my 2017. Fits with no rubbing either.

Not the greatest pic
