The car dealers job is to keep you on the treadmill. The only way to come out ahead is to drive a vehicle into the ground. Anything else is a waste of money. Of course I’m a huge money waster. I’ve always liked cars and trucks and love my new F150. Left over 2017 trucks have pretty deep discounts now, around 10k off sticker.

The real question is will it make you happy and can you afford it? Want to save money, keep it stock. I’ve always just liked keeping them stock and really clean.

Keep me happy? It just needs to keep me happy for a few years after I do some mods. Afford? If I couldn't afford it, I wouldn't be thinking of it. My '12 is free and clear, and so would be this one, I HATE the payment plan on anything, short of a house.
Stock. STOCK?!?!?! No way, I'm an olde guy, 66, but doesn't mean I need a nondescript, neutral color, blend in with the common thing. I couldn't look myself in the mirror. Hell, if that was me, I'd have a minivan or some other hohum thing.
I will say, this one will appear more stock than the present one, on the outside, I'm going for the sleeper look with this one. Never did a truck like that, just a couple cars, and keeping it clean is a big must.

Not a bad deal at all, includes being hand delivered right to my door, and the "Z" plan price.
Now to convince the real boss. LOL, she still can't figure why I insist on keeping a paid for Ranger as a DD!
I'll give you 500, cash money. No questions asked.

Ahhh, we're both still kids, screw that growing up and be boring. Thing is, we've got the experience on how not to be boring, and surprising instead! With a lot more class!

I've been modding vehicles since 1965 when I got my first car so why stop now!

I just paid $36k for my 2017 5.0 SC XLT, sticker was $46 and there are a couple of dealers advertising them between $28-32k with less options. Oddly, looking at the used prices now at the same dealers there are some with the same mileage as yours priced in the low to mid 30s. It seems to not make any sense. I would still be surprised if they offer you more than $20k, on it, they will want to make money on it. Here is one at a local dealer, Supercrew (but 3.5) for $27k. Good luck!
