Found this reading the news today.

5.4L Twin Turbo pushes a 06GT to 257MPH in one mile.

Dunno if ya'll read this yet, just found it interesting. Hopefully ford gets and hint a twin turbos the V8's for our trucks.

As soon as I saw the thread I figured it was Maxton or the Texas Mile, very cool car bet that would be fun to play around with..

They need to try it with the new 5.8 engine in the Mustang Shelby GT, maybe hit 260+. 5.4 with an overbore.
