Default 20x10 -24 vs 20x12 -44 for Daily driving

Hi,

New to the Forum and trucks scene I have a 2018 F150 STX 4x4 SuperCrew and I’m slowly purchasing
the parts for my lift. So far I’ve purchased the 7” ReadyLIFT kit and the Fox shocks in the rear and
Bilsteins shocks in the front. My question is what is more ideal for daily driving conditions 20x10 -24 or 20x12 -44?
Will 20x12 -44 put more wear and tear? I want to go for 20x12 -44 due to the better stance it gives and I’m planning
to run 35” tires probably the Toyo open country AT.

Wow, those -44 are gonna stick WAY out there!!! They'd work, but anyone behind you won't be very happy with you.

I don't get the appeal of these super wide, negative offset wheels everyone is running now. Isn't that hell on your paint?

no. My paint looks awesome.

Am I gonna bomb a gravel road? No. Am I gonna wheel it? No. Who the hell wheels half ton pickups?

I don't really think the width of your tire is going to have any impact on "daily driving" or wear and tear on the tire itself. What's going to have an impact is the lift, the type of tire you choose (e.g. off road tires vs all terrain vs street tires) and the diameter of the full wheel itself. It sounds like you already have your mind made up on the things that are going to have the largest impact though so I wouldn't really worry about offset and wheel width. Go with what you prefer from a "looks" perspective.

Your wheel bearings won’t like you as much with the 12 wide -44 wheel but I’ve had them before and it wasn’t too bad. Here’s mine with 20x10 -24:
