The forum still needs information to help.

1. What size and brand of tire?
2. What tire pressure?
3. What engine? It does affect the ride.
4. What cab configuration and bed length?

Don't really know. I have a 2018 7000 GVWR FX4 all stock and it's the best riding truck I've ever been in (including an Air Ride Ram). I test drove a 2015 2.7L Payload Package back when they first came out and I thought it was awful. It's not like it was really HD as it's really just the 2.7EB in a 3.5EB Chassis.

In my opinion a lot of variation exist in these trucks even with identical model and options. Not sure why.

With that level of detail, I'm even surprised you got so many answers....

I'll take a guess : You bought some Load E tires (LT-10 plys) that are currently inflated at 50-60 PSI!

No kidding...20s already ride a little stiffer. Stick 33 LTs on there...and fill em up to 55psi...

That's why I love my p-rated 33'' falken wildpeaks inflated @ 35PSI. A little stiffer on paper than the OEM dynapros, but I did not notice absolutely any change in the ride since I swapped them.

I swap my 20s for General Graggers in a P rating for fall hunting / winter and I put them on 18 inch wheels and boy what a difference! Ride is great!
