Autostop Eliminator. www.autostopeliminator.com
Best money I spent on my truck yet. 10 minutes to install and "set it and forget it". Always remembers your last setting regardless of ignition cycles. If you turn it OFF, it stays OFF.

Just tested while I was at lunch. No go. When Auto SS is engaged (engine off) steering wheel doesn't turn. Checked the owner's manual as well, it makes no mention of turning the steering wheel to start the engine when Auto SS is engaged.

My auto SS doesn't work in the winter, but over the summer i have had a few times where it took 2-3 seconds for the EPAS to kick back in. Doesn't sound like much until your halfway into a turn. I was going to ask the dealer but they won't even address why auto SS doesn't work any more (constant vehicle charging message) so i don't want to waste anymore time with them. I haven't been able to replicate anything that causes the delay so im stumped.

I've had mine work at temps as low as 28°F.

Spent 100.00 on the Genie and turned mine off. It was the one thing I hated most about this truck.

40 and below and it wont work. Granted one day it was 10 and the damn thing worked lol. Im guessing the BMS or battery is having issues but the dealer just says that "i don't understand how the system works" I argued that after 2 hrs of highway driving and my battery is still under the low voltage cut off then there is a problem. Last year it would work down to 15 below after the truck was 100% warmed up and the hvac controls where off.

In the summer time if I auto start my vehicle, twice the heated seats have came on even though its been 90 degrees outside.

You may have seen this, but this lists the parameters that the system must have in order to activate/deactivate auto start stop.

The *** on my 2015 seems to work fine, as I don’t really notice any issues when it starts back up. It doesn’t activate very often though.

I have the 2.7L Lariat and have never experienced the situation you describe (thankfully)
My experience with Auto start/stop has been positive. Restart is just taking my foot off the brake and it works seamlessly. Hope the dealership gets it fixed for you

This has happened to me twice. Once making a left turn onto a one way street. Fortunately, it was just a curb that I couldn't steer away from. The second time was a left turn across traffic, headed right toward cars in the other left turn lane. That time i was able to stop before hitting anything. Just had people honking at me. Can't make it happen to show the dealership though. This is the first time I've read that others have had this problem.

I've also had the truck completely stall on me while turning a few times, but that's a whole other problem.
