Don't mind drive by wire. Just don't like shifter by wire with a ****.
Don't like electric cars, Or hybrid cars.
Feel people don't like us driving products that use gas to run them.
And they are working to get rid of that.
Its bad enough ethanol is still in gas.

Shift by wire is a terrible concept. No more mechanical linkages to get out of adjustment completely ruins driving. [/sarcasm]

As i said here a bunch of times, i don't like, no i hate shifter **** dials whatever you want to call em..
One of the main reasons i bought a F150 with the Sport pkg. rather than a RAM with their goofy Euro style **** shifters..
Get a F150 with the Sport package. It has a stick style shifter on the center console.
Unless you need to sit 3 people on the front seat, the center console shifter IMO is even much better than old style steering column lever shifters.

I had a 2016 Ram with the dial shifter. Took some getting used to, but no big deal. Not like it's a manual trans and you are using constantly while driving.
That being said I do prefer the shifter on the counsel of my new Ford. But I sure miss the cavernous counsel in the Ram. Tons of room for stuff and even had a spot to hold two cell phones while they were plugged in.

lol. You mean console instead of counsel? Another one I see all the time and have no idea how it happens on automotive related boards is bumber instead of bumper. The "b" is nowhere near the "p" on the keyboard.
