Friend of mine recently had the same issue on his 2018 2.7. They didn't find anything. Runs fine all of the sudden. Engine has 8k on it .

well I was driving the other day and the engine light
comes on again after 150klms since I picked it up.
took it back to the dealership yesterday turns out now I need a cataytic converter which is on back order.
Starting think it’s a Monday morning or Friday afternoon truck.

The 2.7 must be hard on plugs and converters.

When I picked up the truck from the dealership they told me if could be a bad batch of plugs.
and then with the misfire some of the unburnt gas most likely got into the converter, which is why that needs to be replaced... will report more when I get the converter replaced

Just drove back a brand new 2018 2.7eb with 100km on odo, cel came on the freeway and after scanning it, it shows random misfire on 1,5,6
no loss of power, and hasn't comeback after I reset it. will call dealer tomorrow

Picked up the truck yesterday after the converter was replaced.
everything seems to be running like it did before the misfire.
will post if another issue comes up.

Got a chance to play with forscan (disabled start/stop)
saw 1 count cyl3 misfire but that will not cause a cel (limit is 65xxx counts)
200kms on odo
will bring to dealership next week anyway for trailer brake controller install and ask to check it with ford ids

New to the forum,
My 2016 2.7 screw 4x4 got dropped off at the dealership today. I had CEL on with P0304 code (misfire #3 cylinder). It started to take longer to start last week and then this code popped up. I cleared the code but it came back. Saw the TSB for this code and my engine was built within that time frame. I'll post an update once I get a call from the dealership.

So I just got a check engine light myself on my 2018 2.7 Lariat 4x4. I bought it in April and it has 4300 miles. It was nice that you get the alert on the app telling you its a misfire instead of just a plain CEL. I dropped it off at the dealership this morning, hoping its nothing serious. I want to note since purchase I have only run Premium Fuel in it, 93 octane.

they will call me tomorrow with what they find out.....anyone seen this before or have any insight
into why this happened?
I have a 2018 2.7 and got a misfire code on Monday morning before work. Just heard back from my dealer today and the findings were a bad fuel injector and spark plug. (4,300 miles on the truck in 3 months) I also had the engine shake/vibrations.
