On down the highway

There are plenty here that will swear by fox. Ask them if they ever had both? My 14 had fox, 16 halos, 18 has 6112 Bilstein Next ride will have Halos. All 3 are vast improvement over stock. Fox is ok but your paying for a name over the ride and performance. It’s like buying a north face coat, great name but the suck as a warm coat.
Bilstien is ok but has to much body roll.
Halos make the truck ride and handle awesome!
having all 3, driving the same bad highway spot and off ramps, halo, then Bilstien then fox in that order for performance and handling

I have a 2014 FX4, Rear-Bilstein 5100's - big improvement over stock
and a 1.5" Level up front.
i did all this 3-4 years ago, and have noticed the ride lately is just Eh, Ok.
was thinking about Fox 2" Coilovers front and fox shocks in the back. but now I may look into Halo, thinking that your right - Fox is so much more just for the "name"
I don't haul a lot, and some off-roading for work, and all season here in the midwest, Love my truck, just thought it was time to replace the shocks, figured I would
replace the coils too up front.
Would this be a bad idea, or just replace the front struts with Bils and call it a day ?

I have ran the fox 2.0's and 2.5's on my '14. I would agree with Dave after driving in a couple other trucks that have halo's when compared to the 2.0's.
Honestly the 2.0's a big improvement of the stockers and ride better with the heavier "Steel" trucks than the '15+ trucks. BUT, you could always order from a reputable dealer and drop the spring rate by 50lbs (most will do it for free).
The 2.5's are in a 'whole 'nother league though. I can't believe how much better this truck handles and rides (I also have DSC). At the price-point, they aren't for everyone though.

I am leaning toward this in the next month or 2.
