2017 F-150 Heated Washer Nozzles

I have been looking around at the various threads on frozen washer nozzles and am now requesting assistance. I have spent the last 12 days in MN with the coldest day starting at -27F with out factoring in wind chill. I am figuring about -50F with wind chill because my block heater extension cord broke when I attempted to make it something other than straight. Yes it broke in to two pieces and it was not an old cord. Since my washer nozzles had been frozen since the first night of the trip up I have been pondering how to heat them. I have located a snap switch in the correct temp range whIch will trigger the ground to the relay for the heater circuit and I have the wiring all figured out so that they will come on with an aftermarket remote start and/or ignition on if the temp is below the trip point of the snap switch but I now need to figure out where to find a heated nozzle to fit the truck. Has anyone ever seen a heated Focus nozzle next to a F150 or Navigator nozzle? There has to be something out there that will fit the hole in the body so if we can work together and come up with a heated nozzle I will draw up and release the schematic and part numbers to make it work with an aftermarket 12 Volt Solutions remote start. Working out how to make it work with a factory remote start should not be to difficult.

I guess I would just order a set of cheap focus or escape nozzles off Ebay for $4.75, and just see if they fit. If they do, then order up a set of the heated ones.
Another option is a tank heater, although I have never used one, so really have no input on them.
Your -50° is making it's way here on Wednesday.

Unfortunately when you order off of eBay you can never be sure of the validity of the supplied part number, if they even provide one. I was hoping that in exchange for supplying all of the info to build your own heated nozzle kit I would get something more than an explanation on how to approach researching a project like this since I have already done many projects similar to this over the years.

I'm not really sure how to take you.
I could care less about your top secret idea, I was just giving you some options.
Good luck, guy.

^what he said. If someone had the solution to your question, they would probably have also already done what you’re trying to do.

Thank you Nathan and Mimsy.

Hey, get ****ed, *******.

I'm in my 47th Minnesota Winter and have had the problem you are having exactly 0 times. It will be -30F here on Wednesday, and I'm willing to bet mine will work just fine. With the 10+ million people here in the Upper Midwest, if it were a problem, there would already be a common solution. My guess is operator error.

A couple of Pro Tips:
1. Don't cheap out and put water in your windshield washer tank. Spend the $2 and get a gallon of the blue stuff....it doesn't freeze.
2. When you go on a forum asking for help, don't be an *******. You will catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

^this, get the super cold below zero stuff and drill out the check valve in the line

Widely posted regarding the check valve freezing, and the solution of drilling it out. Windchill affects human skin, not washer nozzles, check valves, or engine block heater cords.
