2017 Ecoboost no power
Wife had to take her 2014 Escape (2.5na) in for recall work, long story short they gave her a 2017 F150 with 3.5TT eco as a loaner.
She called and said it was a nice truck but didn't have the power her 4cyl had, I told her to put her foot into it and wait for the whistle......... needless to say she was Because some people can't read emot's (very surprised the power it had)
I looked the truck over and took it for a drive and was less than impressed overall, like any turbo engine is known for, the power lag was expected.
I can see how that low end torque would be the best choice for towing over my 5.0. Other than that, pffft nothing I would ever own.
EDITED: For clarification. Some people lack the ability to read between the lines.

You must really despise the Ecoboost.

You would be very mistaken.
This post was a parody on my wife's experience with it when I told her how to drive it.
My lifetime of experience with Fords and the various powertrains might seem a tad biased. I do how ever lean towards engines that can create their own power without the help of forced induction.
Forced induction should not be a requirement for daily use.

I could tell by the post(s) that it was going to late in the evening... seems the stupid posts come out late in the evening after a few to many....
My V8 TT would beg to differ regarding your forced induction comment. Lame attempt at trying to make yourself feel better because there's something better than what you own out there.
Somebody had to say it.
