2017 2.7 shutter after making a stop
Hi all, new here,
I have a 2017 XLT 2WD sport 2.7 TT w/ 6speed trans 19,000 on the clock I usually drive with the auto on/off disengaged.I have noticed sometimes coming to a stop and I mean after the truck has stopped moving , I feel this slight shutter in the truck. Its like the converter is disengaging after about 1.5 seconds after the truck comes to a complete stop. I thought it was a engine miss but I watch the tach and all seems normal. Is this normal for these trucks? |

My 2018 2.7 does this as well. It almost feels like the ASS has stopped the engine, but when I look down, I see it hasn't. Have no idea what it is. Doesn't really bother me.

Driving in this morning, I kept watching the tach, then noticed that after the truck comes to a complete stop (truck not moving) the tach drops about 200 or so RPM. Nothing erratic, just drops a few RPM AFTER the vehicle stops moving. |
Mine does it too. Only when the engine is cold.

It feels like the tranny trying to kill the motor.

Torque converter unlocking,
|
Mine has always done this and it's a 16 3.5 ECO.
