Any more updates on the start up rattle? Mine has done it from day one. Now have 16,000 miles on it.

I just bought mine 2 weeks ago and noticed the same thing. It's a 2016 with 9000 miles on it. Really loud on start up but quietens down while running. Mine doesn't go away though after the warm up period. I'm thinking timing chain issues. I'm taking it to the dealer Thursday to get it looked at.

I purchased a 2018 f150 with the 3.5 eb (18k miles)- every thing was fine until a couple of weeks ago and it started making the startup rattle.It only does it after the truck has been sitting for a couple of days
I am in southern Ca ,so its not terribly cold here
