Red face 2015 Ford F150 3.5L exhaust help

2015 Ford F150 XLT super crew 3.5L (non ecoboost) 3.5L Ti-VCT V6?
2.5 inlet with 2.75 outlet on current OEM system?
5.5 foot bed with 145 inch wheelbase?

I am looking for help with picking out a SIDO (single in duel out) exhaust system. I have made the firm choice to go through amazon since I have some gift cards wanted to use. I am looking to spend no more than $350 for the system. Took IRENE to the shop yesterday and they told me have 2.5 inlet with 2.75 outlet on current OEM system? I am leaning toward flowmaster brand as you can see. Below are some of the systems I am looking at from cheaper to most expensive. If I go with the first one on the list I am a little lost on how it works … I assume that y pipe hooks to the OEM muffler? If that's the case I would want to upgrade to a more aggressive muffler so would want to 86 this as a choice right? I am leaning toward the 2nd link because of the color and website information I have gathered on it. Noob question … if I went with the 2nd link I would remove the stock muffler right? Would that not make my system run on the short side? If I went with the 3rd link it would take care of my running up short question since the muffler looks longer. From there I have to ask … what model should I get … Super 10 would be loudest I guess right? Anyway if somebody could help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it. Should I opt for stainless since I live in Ohio and it will snow from time to time?

You're throwing cash away if you're having jim's shop down the street weld mufflers on and crush bend the exhaust. Aside from crush bends killing flow, you'll hate the sound.

I would at least recommend vibrant or magnaflow muffers. It'll make you think it sounds like a v8 at idle, but the tailpipe sound after 2500rpm or so becomes drastically different than a v8...no matter what mufflers you use.
Stick with mandrel bent tubing. if not available, just have them cut out the mufflers and swap different ones in. Crush bends are trash.

So just reading this post it caused me to ask a few more questions that I might already have the answer to? You mentioned several times crush bend the exhaust? I assuming you are referring to Aluminized mandrel bent for longer life in the description under amazon? Anyway … have narrowed my choice down to the below link. This system will give me the option to go out the back or out the side if I am reading it right. If I just want straight out the back stainless I get for $289.99

the piping for that kit is mandrel bent, which is good. The cherry bomb muffler is hot garbage though...and you'll hate life with it. It'll be loud and will not have an appealing tailpipe sound on a v6.
I'd hack out that cherry bomb muffler for good quality mufflers and resonator.

You will absolutely hate the sound of any aftermarket exhaust on an ecoboost engine. I tried it, installed one, went around the block, came home and took it off and sent it back all in the same day.

his isn't ecoboost.

but knowing your ecoboost won't sound like a V8 should be enough to know it's going to sound different.

Alright so if I am getting you right I need to get the set below at the very least? If I decide to go with this system I am still lost on how it would work. will the stock muffler hook up to that Y or is the Y the acting muffler? I am going for loud anyway … though don't want it to sound like missing the exhaust system LOL! Magnaflow had the XL series though not sure about that brand?

Eh, without a muffler, it'll be loud AND sound like crap.
Even with a small muffler, it'll be loud and sound like crap.

What do you think about this system? I found a set online for $400 used. Would this not be a great buy. That way I have the dual look and if want to change muffler anytime could?
