Both great trucks. I have both a 2009 Ram 1500 and a 2012 Ford F 150.

Have 3 1500s in my family and 1 F150. Like my truck a lot better. Have not driven the new 1500 yet though. So hard to compare a 2015 to a 2004/2006.

Just drove the EcoDiesel the other day and I was a little surprised at how much I like the truck. The only thing keeping me in the F150 is the cab, yup the cab space is much more abundant and with 3 kids to haul in the back I really need the space.
Other than that I really like the new RAMs good thing I really like my new F150 as well... I think either way you go you'll be happy..

no brainer, at least for this forum.

It is a F150 forum.

You know which truck to get.

I test drove an EcoDiesel as well. Liked the truck's ride and overall looks, but was not happy with that engine. Id did fall in love with a Power Wagon though. Sway bar disconnect, front and rear lockers, winch, lift and stock 33" tires. That was awesome.

Default Update

Well, here is the update that I promised. I drove the 2015 RAM 1500 today and the ride was just a little bit smoother than a 2015 Ford f150. The Ford f-150 has a few more bells and whistles than the RAM 1500 such as power side passenger seat and running boards. Price wise they are neck and neck. Both dealers are selling me the truck at invoice +rebates from Ford and Ram respectfully. The Ford is an XLT and the RAM is a Big Horn. I will be going back to the RAM dealership to talk more money. I went back to the Ford dealership today and they're willing to come down another $500 but I believe that will be there bottom line. So, it will be a very tough decision to make.

Well, when it came to the final numbers Ford was not able to match or did not want to match what the Ram offered. The Ram dealership called me back and asked me what it would take to sign the papers so I told them what they needed to do and they did so I am a happy camper. Attached is the picture of my new 2015 Ram Longhorn.
