And smart'en me up please. What is the auto start stop function ?

The 2015 was completely redesigned and I hate insurance. But this was the first vehicle I ever bought the extended warrantee($920) I think it was.
My 2015 I bought in August. So its just 2 yrs old now and just turned 26k.

A clean machined rotor and new pads is better then a worn hot spot rotor that pulsates...?? Yes I think so.

For the price of a new one and how many times a stock turned rotor warps again, I think not.

But maybe I'm wrong, I've only gone through this twice.

I suppose it depends on the condition of the rotor and the cost of a OEM rotor($200) or one from a local auto parts($70), I haven't had a rotor turned in years to be honest. Most shops toss them and change them now days I think anyway.

Who was servicing the axle/changing the fluid? if it was done with BG fluids they would
warranty the repair, what is Fords recommendation (owners manual) on when fluid is to be changed? maybe who serviced it didn't add enough fluid. either that or it somehow
got water in it.

Wow, you were 6K out of warranty and they covered 75% of the cost on that repair, which I'm sure was very expensive. That's AWESOME. You rarely ever hear about a domestic manufacturer standing behind their customers like that.

I like to use old rotors as steel shooting range targets.
