2015 f150 concept revealed

Thought I was going to do good with 2010 with the established 5.4L but that was the only component that was established. I had trouble with the trans and chassis. Now I'm into a 2012, thanks to a great salesman's work to get me out of the 2010, and so far so good (knock on wood).
Really love the 5.0L.

I saw the truck today. Went to a top secret preview for ford employees before the autoshow here in Detroit. I can't say anything till Tuesday tho. But I can say. It's one bad *** truck. U will all want one. But u might see it Tuesday. not sure if they will actualy have it at the show. It's still in the works.

I agree. More and more makers are changing body styles just as they have perfected the last through TSBs and recalls. Then it all starts again. I would rather have a model that's established.

The chassis also has changed. In 2010 they went through different leaf springs and the such (from more thinner leafts to fewer thicker leafs). Also longer in the tooth to take care of bugs and issues.

There testing of the parts, is that the same testing group who designed the CAC system for the Ecoboost. If so, no thanks. They have to give the exterior a manly look for the buyer to forget about the fact that there truck is framed out like a beer can. How do you lighten a truck by 700-750 lbs w/o adding inferior parts like plastics and lighter grade metals. Glad I got the 2013. Might be the last of the real Built Ford Tough trucks.
I see another Super Duty in my future.

This should be an interesting thread come Tuesday once we all get to see the Next Gen F150. Can't wait to hear everyones thoughts, also hoping Ford doesn't dissopoint us. I agree though, I might keep my current 2011 EB until 2016 to give the new model a good year of production to work out the bugs. The 3.5L ecoboost will still be an option and I'm sure the bugs will be out if it by 2016.
