Please Ford please start using your concepts and sticking with them.
It's not just Ford. The entire industry does this. That's why they call them "concepts".

I don't care what others do, I care about Ford. And that still doesn't give an excuse why they water them down so bad, I'm not sure anybody will say the interior here looks better or even close to that of the atlas.

So will the next Tundra have these vents too since they practically copied/pasted the F-150 dashboard?

From what I'm seeing, it's nothing to write home about.

I dunno about that. I mean, I like the Tundra and all, but the inside is ridiculously plasticky.

Would you pay $100,000 for a pickup truck if they stuck with the concept? Because I sure wouldn't. You can bet that that's what it would cost.

Really, 100k? It may be a few hundred dollars more for the extra fabrication on the interior and I'm sure they probably even could for the same price it's just using different size/shape molds.

Are you high? A few hundred more?

Umm, no. Look at all the chrome, the electronic goodies, the attention to detail. There's a reason they dumb down the production truck, to save cost. Otherwise, why would they dumb down a concept? Just for ****s and giggles? It just makes sense.

You can honestly say they had to dumb it down that much? They removed all the brushed aluminum, changed the steering wheel, and what bugs me the most is the radio/fan controls, they went from outstanding to hideous.
