2015 f150

gm and ford are partnering again to build a 10 speed with brand specific ecm parameters
they did a few years back with the 6 speed in the edge and a whole bunch of other fords and chevies
its save tons O money
10 speeds is odd imo, unless you get a triple overdrive for those times we get to run 75 and above

I don't wait for something to grow on me...except my hair! I have no brand loyalty and only buy what is good and what I like. I liked the new 2013 f150 (except the stupid grille on my FX4) so I bought it. Love the ecoboost and hopefully GM will learn how to build a truck with a console shifter one of these decades! Dodge needs to build a truck that will last, Toyota needs to build a truck that can tow more than 500 lbs, and Nissan needs to build a truck that gets more than 5 miles per gallon! ...whats left?

This is your opinion and I will respectfully disagree. the 2009s were okay, and same as the 2010s. (sorry folks)...the 2011 looked a bit better with the new grilles and so did the 2012s. I have a fully loaded 2013 and I think a 3rd grader designed the grille on my truck. I love everything about my truck...except the grille. Perhaps the largest contributing factor to styling and Ford really fckd the monkey on this one!
Some people will and may say the '13 & '14 trucks will look outdated when '15 models show up. Be it they may? But I think they will be remembered as a classic, clean design just like '92-'96 F-150's do.
Trucks that sort of push radical styling to the edge, tend to look dated fastest as trends quickly die out. An example, '92-'02 Dodge Rams look painfully dated today, due to the fact those were the original 1/2 ton trucks to go with that polarizing mini big rig look (although I admit it looked cool back then)
But when you compare say a '97 Silverado or GMC to a '97 Ram, the Ram looks way more outdated. But that's mainly due to the fact a 2014 Silverado looks like a modern interpretation of a '78 Lol with the same old block & chiseled shape.

the dealership is on the corner of my street I see it every night.
I like it but I was raised in a GM family, and getting a lot of crap over my F150.
I am not a one of those one brand only guy, selling my Jeep right now just sold my Pontiac, want a another GTO, cant stand any of the so called muscle cars the big three make these days, they all look like *** to me.
bottom line
love my ford
like the new gmc
hate the dodge
would never by an import
this concept will be close to the final product I am in Detroit and have already been hands on with a 15.

Funny. I always think that the looks are a much lesser consideration to the function. I think in terms of function, how I can use a truck. That seems to be the really truck kind of thinking.
Now, that doesn't mean that style isn't important, just probably not a deciding factor in a purchase.
