I have been considering getting the BAK Roll-X cover. It rolls up as I need that option also. Any opinions on this one?

Have the roll-x on mine and love it.
I imagine the aluminum links might get a bit stiff in winter, or accumulated snow on top preventing it from rolling up, no problem for me, I live in a tropical climate.
It won't block the rear view like the back flips and is easily rolled up and back out one handed, It takes up no bed space so my motorcycle fits with ease and even a load of furniture is no problem without having to remove it and store it.
No it wont bump up against or rub your rear window, it has very strong lock down straps on both sides to keep it in place.
Yes it is a little more expensive but like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for"
I would buy another again in a heartbeat if I had to.

Roll X in the cold
I got mine after our real cold spell in Feb. so I have no experiance to pass on. I would be very careful with any kind of plastic cover or hinges in sub 0 temps. It should be ok at 5 degrees and sunshine. I did roll my up when the temps were in the mid 20s. It didn't flatten out real pretty until the sun warmed it up.
