Guess I'll have to call my '12 FX4 AP SCrew the "Aftershock" or the "Quake" now?!

Like surebutter said, I don't understand the 4.10 gears. But, I am glad to see Ford coming back to the Reg. Cab. for some better appearance options.

IMHO, the first things that need to go are the side stripes, and the "Tremor" on the bed sides.

Quicker launches, faster red light to red light acceleration, not that anyone would street race this truck!

I believe part of the Crown Vic Interceptor pkg. which I'm sure you are quite familiar with included lower gearing than the grandpap edition Crown Vic's, again for quicker acceleration.

What price range are they going to be in?

While they say it's no Lightning successor it's as close as you can get, only thing missing is the SVT badge.

I'd predict that they will sell well, especially in the southern states.

The Ford statement references 'FX' similarities - that should give us an idea of where they think it fits - upgraded interior and engine. I would guess at least 30k.

edit: just built an RCSB 5.0 4x4 with cloth seats on the Ford website - 31k. My guess would be 35k for the eco and leather interior.

Good to see a unique trim that doesn't force you to fork over money for a crewcab for a change.

Heh, my ride in highschool was a 15 year old Buick... I would have killed for something as nice as the tremor ;-)

Id say at least $39k if not $40k

I won't pay that for one. Not when I can buy a 5.0 RCSB 4x4 for less than 31 (31 is msrp). Another ~7k and I've got just under 600rwhp.

It was only 36k for a scab fx4
