Default 2014 Brake, Master Cylinder Recall

Just received a,
" Safety Recall Notice 16S24/ NHTSA recall 16V-345 "
Word for Word from Ford,

" On your Vehicle, the brake Master cylinder may allow brake fluid to leak into the brake booster. If the brake fluid reservoir is depleted below a per-determined level, you will be alerted that brake system service is required by a combination of the following:

. An audible Chime
. A full screen message center alert
. Illuminated of the red brake warning indicator ( shown to the left )

If the brake fluid reservoir is depleted through continued vehicle operation you may experience a change in break pedal travel and feel, and reduced brake functioning the front wheels. Brake function the rear wheels is unaffected by this condition. Reduced brake function in the front wheels can extend stopping distance, increasing the risk of a crash.

IF YOUR VEHICLE exhibits SYMPTOMS OF AN AUDIBLE CHIME, A MESSAGE CENTER ALERT, AND A RED BRAKE WARNING INDICATOR, immediately contact your dealer and request a service appointment for diagnosis and repair related Safety Recall 16S24. Provide the dealer with the Vin. of your vehicle, which is printed near your name at the beginning of this letter."
Their is another page, but you get the idea.

I hope this helps out someone.

Has anyone gotten any Brake recalls for any 2015 F150's?

SUMMARY:
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 F-150 vehicles manufactured August 1, 2013, to August 31, 2014 equipped with 3.5L engines. The master cylinder rear cup seal may roll, resulting in brake fluid leakage from the primary reservoir into the brake booster.
CONSEQUENCE:
Loss of brake fluid from the primary reservoir results in a complete loss of front brake function, increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:
Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the brake master cylinder and, if necessary, the brake booster, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on July 11, 2016. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 16S24.

Well May is before August so...

I'm assuming you have a 3.5, and not a 3.7 or 5.0?

OK, you win.

My 2014 Master Cylinder worked fine without any problems. My foot didn't go to the floor.
The Built date only represents that one day when the Brakes Recall didn't apply to my 2014 Lariat.
Yes, 3.5 Eco.

My son in laws 2013 F150 eccoboost lost its brakes going about 65 mph about 100 miles from home. He had to leave it there and rent a car to get home. There are no parts to fix the brakes. Ford did get him a loaner, a 2016 F150 XLT super crew. Asked him how he liked the truck, he said it really moves. Asked him what engine it had, duh. Looked under the hood, it was a 5.0. Really increases the pucker factor when the pedal goes to the floor.

Got my recall letter the last week while i was on vacation. Called today to set an appointment, and the dealer told me there wasn't any stock and to call them in 1 to 2 weeks.
