I just wanted to give an update.
By all indications my local dealership in Chatsworth was able to fix the problem. There was a specific bulletin put out by Ford that addressed the issue. I can post the work order if anyone is still in need.
Thank you to Michelle, the Ford Rep. She was very professional and courteous. Michelle always contacted me at the specified time and served as an effective liaison between my local dealer and me.

Thanks to this thread I was able to get my 2013 XLT fixed. TSB 14-0134. I called the dealer and had no problems. I didn't even have to take the tech for a ride so he could hear the buzzing sound. The service was great and it was covered under the powertrain warranty. 3 hr fix at no cost, they even gave me a car to drive around in while they fixed it.
Hope this thread helps someone else!

I dropped off my 14 XLT Eco boost this morning to have this (and the brake master cylinder recall) addressed. I printed the TSB and provided it with an explanation of the complaint/issue.
He called me back stating that he doesn't think the TSB applies because as it is worded, it specifically mentions shifting FROM Park to Reverse or Drive... whereas I said the prolonged buzzing/moaning is when I shift TO park on the incline of driveway.
I let him know that this TSB is a known issue and regardless of the EXACT wording, everyone whose had this issue, the repair stated in the TSB solves the shifting TO park moaning.
He said his "transmission specialist" was going to look at it and let me know if there's "something else going on." I'm not looking forward to going round and round with them over a known issue and solution.

2013 F-150 King Ranch
I have had this issue for over 3 years now. Truck as been in the shop many times and of course it can not be reproduced when in the shop. Getting up there in millage and figured I would give it to them for a few days but still no luck after them having it for 5 days. I called Ford to open a case and all I get from Ford and the dealership is that they need to hear it themselves to do any repair. Even though I have captured it on multiple videos. And one I pass the millage for warranty they will not do anything about it.
This is be the last Ford that I ever buy. I can not believe the lack of service for a problem that is clearly an issue with many users. I am glad some of you have been able to work with your dealerships to get it repaired. If anyone can recommend a dealership in Maryland that has a clue about this issue please pass on the name.
Sad that I just found my original post to this thread back in 2015 and still dealing with the issue.
Thanks,

I had the same issue with a '14 Lariat screw 3.5 & 6 speed trans. Dealer transmission tech could not duplicate issue but took notice of TSB 14-0134. Dropped the transmission pan and found bits of gasket material. Replaced gasket and separator plate. Got truck back last week and have driven several hundred miles so far without incident. Truck has been making the noise since 20k mileage. Has 48k miles now and repair was done under the Powertrain warranty. No charge to me.
