Removing spacers (leveling kit) and adding billsteins or other shocks?
I have a 2014 stx 4x4 that I put 2" spacers on the front to level it when I first got it, I lived in a more urban area then. Now I live in the mountains, winters are long and rough, and I spend a lot of my free time up in the woods on trails. (Not any serious offroading but it's somewhat rough terrain on these roads).
From what I understand, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but the spacers are purely cosmetic and can come loose during rough driving? I want to put some bilsteins and remove the spacers. I'm also gonna need to good tires for snow/terrain, etc. I'm considering a 4 inch lift. Would I have to re-gear? I have 3.55 currently.
If I'm gonna lose a ton of power and MPG with a 4 inch lift and 35s then I will probably just put some leveling shocks on and 33s. Performance is more important than cosmetics to me

With 35 inch tires you're going to want 4.56 gears. I don't know why the spacers would come loose. If you're concerned just remove the nuts and lock-tite them. That's supposed to be done upon installation. On mine I have ny-lock nuts AND lock-tite.

I put these on the rear, they fit fine...did not do the fronts yet...i was told bilstein is behind in their testing
Bilstein 33-187501 5100 Series,,,maybe a different part number with the lift..these were good for stock, to plus 2 or 4 cant remember.....sdtruckspring can tell you
