I do realize - but do you see all the design glitches in the ecoboost? Definitely not a warm fuzzy feeling for longevity and maintenance free driving. Look at the f150 ecoboost forum. Nothing but failures, recalls, tsbs, and workarounds just yo make them drivable. No thanks.

You already told us about these issues when you were going by the names 02_Lightning, darrylgibbs, Sasquatch77 and a couple other names I can't remember.

Kind of like that junky 4.6 and 5.4 I would not have bought a Ford until they dropped those ticking time bomb/money pits.

I would have loved to get the millage some guys are complaining about when I had my 2004 F250 ! Heck I had a 1984 F250 back in the day and got around 10 on a good day ! LOL I just bought a used ecoboost haven't got it yet but if I get 16 to 17 mpg combined it's a heck of an improvement on what the F250 got.

Install a boost gauge and keep the needle in vacuum, below 0. Your MPG will increase significantly.

99% is WAY too high of a number. Go to a Ford dealership in a town that has a lot of truck guys living in it and ask them how many EcoBust trucks come through there in a given week. Companies don't issue TSB and recall lists a quarter mile long for vehicles with a 99% success rate.

Of course, and when one user posts an issue 50 times, it must mean there was 50 issues...
