2013 f150 Lariet crewcab 4x4 fuse #27
Thank you for the info on fuse #27 , I had to replace my fuse this morning after two days of the truck cutting off while I was driving and it would not start back . I just bought this truck 3 weeks ago and I think whom ever owned the truck before me was having the same issue and decided to sell it or trade it because of this.

[QUOTE=stashton;4955353]Ford 2581, Your post on fuse# 27 was a real life saver today. It was very obviously burnt. I replaced it and truck started right up. I have ordered the EL3Z-14293-A Fuse Relocation Kit from Ford for $21.95 and plan to do it myself. I never would have figured this one out and probably would have spent a fortune at the dealer. Thank you for sharing such critical information. Photo of fuse attached.
Thanks for posting this, I was out of town and this happened to me. I bought a packet of fuses for $6.00 and it started right up!

Yes it was the #27 fuse. Replaced it and it started right up no issues. I did call the Ford customer service and filed a concern but its up to the NTSB to order a recall. so if anyone wants to call and start a case the # is 1-800-392-3673. Thanks for everyone's posts.

Hello people, i own a 2013 f-150 xl w/3.7 v6 for a year now. It's lifted 4" and has FUEL rims w/35 x 12.50 nobbie tires, Sounds like a Bart train when rolling. The truck is in excellent condition and get positive remarks from people (nice truck) and so forth. Truck has 95.850 miles . I just want to give my input concerning truck dieing and won't start. Had 2 occurrence's ,the first turned out to be a wiring harness plug-in on the passenger side kick panel next to the fuse box. The plug has a lock bar that keeps it from coming off-well the lock bar was broke . ok that solved. #2 MY ENGINE DIED when driving 40 mph. Rolled to a stop and called my buddy who owns a tow company. the problem was "FUSE 27" burned out. R&R and back on the road a happy camper because i looked up the solution in this website.. Like to say thank you to those who told others to check the fuse. By the way -the recall on transmission issue's downshifting to first , i took it in to serramonte ford for reprogramming ,not only did they fix that issues ,they also adjusted transmission shift points that works with my size tire's 35 x 12.50 ..

2013 6.2L Raptor. Continuous crank but does not catch. No fuel smell from exhaust. No fuel pump noise. Checked fuse #27. Just like your pictures. Overheated and burnt.
Since the terminals have overheated and it will happen again now that they have lost some of their retention spring, I replaced the 20A fuse with an ATO type. Wider blades for a better bite until I install the bypass kit. Taller, yes but the fuse cover still closes.

For what it's worth, on 05-05-19 my 2014 F150 FX4 with the 5.0L had the same problem. Melted #27 fuse with 130,000 miles on it. East TX dealer wants $75 just to look at it. I'll fix it myself. Thanks y'all.
