2013 5.0 Tick/Knock
Hello All, new to this forum hoping for a little bit of help. Just got my 2013 F150 last Saturday. Noticed a ticking noise coming from the passenger side wheel well when truck is up to operating temp. One of the master techs listened to it, and claimed it was just injector noise and was deemed "normal". Well that ticking is turning into more of a tick and a knock these past few days with the drastic
temperature changes. Oil level/pressure is all 100%. I really wish this noise would have been more pronounced before I purchased the truck a few days ago. It only has 34k on the clock. Truck is scheduled at another dealer in my area on Monday, service manager was surprised that I was having any abnormal noises in a 13 model year. I love this truck!.. but this is pretty FUBAR.
