Default 2012 XLT rear brake noise

I had a metal-on-metal noise coming from the rear brakes when I released the brakes, and sometimes when taking a long, sweeping curve. I knew the rear brakes needed replacing, and attributed the noise to worn out pads. I replaced the pads and rotors, and made sure the caliper mounting pins were free and lubed. The noise is still there, however it's now very brief, just for an instant when I release the brake pedal. Am I missing something?

How long since you changed the pads/rotors? On a couple occasions I had some pad drag right after a pad change. It may take a couple days for the pads to "set" properly. Not sure the exact term I am looking for.

It's been a week- would be nice if it's that simple!
