Default 2012 Rear Defogger Not Working

My rear defoger stopped working recently on my 2012 FX4 S-Crew. Anyone have any tips on what might be the problem? Fuses & Relay are good, could it be the connection on the sliding window? Any tips would be helpful - thanks

It could also be a broken wire in the rear window defroster its self if you got aggressive on gleaning the inside. And yes the contacts on the sliding window could play a part. Anything in that circuit on the glass is suspect.

Hope this helps

For your future posting consideration .....

HINT/TIP: You'll find posting in the

My friend has a 2014 and notice the rear defrost stop working. Apparently there is a service bulletin on the rear defrost for not working. They had to replace the entire rear window. Don't use my rear defrost much but checked mine and it does not work. Fuse is still good. I have 2010 so I am on my own.

If you have the slider, make sure it's all the way closed. If it's open even a slight amount it won't make contact and the defroster won't work.
