Default 2012 FX4 - Feels like I'm getting rear ended

I have a 2012 F150 SCREW FX4. Occassionally, at very low speeds, typically when I'm stopped or nearly stopped, I will get a "bang" from the rear of the truck that sounds and feels like I just got rear ended. Brought it in and, of course, they tell me "could not replicate" because they have no interest in chasing down problems.
Any ideas?

Drive shaft clunk. Fairly common problem that has an easy "fix". The fix is to grease the slip yoke.

Loose drive shaft or the fuel tank.

Above answers are correct, driveshaft. There is a TSB on it. And a thread. Think it's called something with the word clunk in it. If it happens at a slow start off the line or a stop.

Was it a Ford shop that said they couldn't replicate? Did you have to pay to get the ol' cant replicate answer?

If you have the 2 piece drive shaft there is a TSB for the bump for that model year. I think a 2 piece drive shaft requires a crew cab and a 6.5 foot bed.

My 2017 has the same issue. I just ignore it since it doesn't cause any accelerated wear.
