Default 2012 F150 FX4 Radiator Fan Loud

Okay, so it just started about 4 days ago, every time I drive. Its 30-45 degrees around here. My defrost won’t work either. Can’t get it to give me heat, only blowing cold air. I’ve seen this as a problem on forums but haven’t found a solid solution to fixing it. Any suggestions? Not a mechanic at all, but I’d love to get this figured out before I take it on a 1,200 mile to and from trip later this month.

I agree with RNL here. if coolant level is low fill it to the line and no higher. the coolant expands, so if you put too much in the tank it will overflow and spill out. possibly popping the cap right off

Coolant was pretty low. Gonna see how the next few days do with everything. I’ll feel stupid but happy if this was the issue. It’s what I get after reading all these posts about people having this issue and nothing being solved. Appreciate it.

It's not really an issue. Coolant is 50% water, water eventually evaporates. My Acura is 10 years old and about once or twice a year it needs a top off, been like that since new. Never had a leak. It's the owner's responsibility to check fluid levels occasionally.
