*sees thread title*
*EB and 5.0 armies gather for another battle*
*EB unrelated to body issues*
Call off the dogs!
Sorry they hoodwinked you like that. FOMOCO does tend to side with the dealerships. Our local Ford dealership is a nightmare in customer service, e-mailed corporate and they basically said they didn't care and it was the dealership's problem. Fortunately it's balanced out by an amazing dealership only an hour away.
But in your case, it really isn't FOMOCO's fault. I'm sure they corrected the issue and had no knowledge the truck was being sold as new. Perhaps your local district attorney could help since it involves business fraud?

Ok I just found out, when delivered, the original owner who, ordered the truck?????refused it because of paint issues upon delivery in,November 2012.I just found out within the last week that the dealership.under ford warranty.had to take the front and rear glass out of the truck, sanded and prepped, the hood, front fenders, both front doors, both rear doors, top of cab,cab corners, bed rails, side of beds and tail gate, had to remove every pice of trim, all decals and stripes and stickers, noted the had to apply several Coates of base paint to match factory paint, after talking to fords I don't have a factory paint warranty on this truck,it's through the dealership, and I bought this truck as a brand new truck, with a plan and all factory rebates, even after this, the dealer ship still says sorry, and if. I want a different truck,Incan trade this one in,WTF. AND FOMOCO WILL DO-NOTHING TO HELP

But now that you have the info, you may have some leverage with the dealer since you have problems pertaining to the re-paint.
I'd play nice at this point. Take the new info you have to the dealer and have a chat with the manager. See where that gets you.
If it gets you nowhere, get an estimate from a good body shop and have an attorney write them a letter with an intent to sue for that ammount plus court costs/attorney fees.
Even if the dealer wins the suit, it will most likely cost them $5k-$10k in attorney fees. They will probably work with you to either get it fixed right or get you in a new truck for a good price. I'd say giving you a new one of equal equipment for what you currently owe would be fair.

Unless the dealer disclosed that you had no paint warranty through ford what they did was fraud. Call them on it. Watch them squirm.
Be nice. Demand to speak with the owner or other person in charge. Let them know that selling a vehicle with a voided factory warranty without disclosure isn't legal and you are prepared to sue for damages if they push the issue. They will almost certainly cave unless they slipped the information into a form you signed without reading.

This was all done before I purchased the truck by the dealer, and they have played dumb thru the hole deal.until, know,I'm dealing with the owner of the dealership and not getting far,I should post the repair order that I obtained from the dealer and the emails to and from fords with their. Responses on the issue,iv been trying to work with the dealer ship, since July on this issue, but originally thought is was only the rear doors, not the hole truck?????? So far the owner will not budge unless I purchase another truck, and only wants to do a trade in value on the one I have,AGAIN WTF !!!!!!!

If the paint surface of the vehicle body requires attention due to a manufacturing defect, the necessary repairs will be performed completely free of charge by any Ford Authorised Repairer, regardless of any change in vehicle ownership during the warranty period.
What is the paint surface warranty period?
The paint surface warranty runs from the first registration date of the vehicle. Where an intermediary purchases a vehicle, the period of cover commences when the vehicle is handed over to that intermediary.
The paint surface warranty period is the same as the Ford Base Warranty applicable to your vehicle. Refer to your vehicle's Service Portfolio (formally Warranty & Service Guide) for the warranty periods applicable to your vehicle.
What is not covered by the paint surface warranty?
Ford is not responsible for any repair that is required as a direct result of:
Damage caused by neglect, flooding, accident, or improper use.
Failure to properly maintain Paint and bodywork by regular cleaning in accordance with Ford instructions.
Factors beyond Ford control, such as: airborne contamination, storm damage, stone chips, scratches and the use of unsuitable cleaning agents.
Repairs using methods that have not been approved by Ford.
It would seem that your truck was repainted under the "paint warranty". I don't understand what your beef is? That you didn't get the factory OE orange peel finish? Generally the aftermarket finishes are much smoother than the OE ones. Do you actually have a compliant with the paint finish or do you just want out of the truck because it was repainted?

Print up a detailed page describing exactly what has happened and how the dealer has treated you and the situation. Make a couple hundred copies. Make sure everything you write down is 100% true. Now stand in front if the dealership with a a big smilel and hand them out to people going into and leaving the dealership. When the owner sees how he is loosing business he will have to cave in to your demands. Just make sure that everything you write down is factual and not opinion in order to avoid a defamation lawsuit. I gave this advice to a friend of mine a few years back with a similar situation as yours. It cost him $12 for 200 photocopies. He gave the first copy to the salesperson that sold him the car. He then went to his car pulled out a lawn chair and sat at the curb to the entrance of the dealership. He didn't even have a chance to hand out the first copy to a potential customer before the sales manager walked out and told him that what he was doing was unnecessary and they would agree to remedy the situation to his satisfaction.
