Default 2011 XL questions

Hey all. Just picked up another F-150 to use as a work truck. It’s a 2011 F-150XL 4X4. It has the smaller V6 3.7L which is what I wanted to get better gas mileage as I do 500-1000 highway miles a week. Great deal, about $6k below blue book and mint inside and out, and engine and everything is great. The only two issues I have found and could use some tips on are these:

1) aux button on radio does nothing (just standard radio, not sync). When I push the AM/FM, CD, or SAT buttons, the radio switches to that selection (even though for SAT it just says “no sat available”, probably because it’s just basic). But when I push AUX, nothing happens. There is an aux input next to lower 12V power plug (headphone type not USB), so I am assuming the aux option should work. Any ideas? Is it possible this was never an option on this truck even though the button is there and the input is there to plug into and wires are connected to the back? Or is the button just bad? Can you reset these radios like you can the fancier ones?

2) I’ve noticed a slight drip/leak where the bell housing mounts to motor. Guessing this is a rear main seal leak, which I have heard are pretty common. Has anyone tried the leak stop stuff (Lucas, BlueDevil, etc) and had any luck? The truck had sat for about 6 months when I picked it up so I’m thinking the seals just got dried out, and maybe something like that would work rather than having to spend $1000 at shop having the Rear Main Seal replaced? Does this stuff work? Any downside to it?

I appreciate any and all tips or advice. Thanks all.
