2011 Ford F-150 5.0 best exhaust systems?

The Borla Touring is a fantastic exhaust system. I haven't regretted for an instant installing it on my 2017 5.0. It's music to your ears when you get on the throttle and yet quiet when just driving around.

Does anyone else think the factory 5.0 exhaust needs no modification? I think Ford nailed it. Perfect amount of volume in the cab. There is no need for a louder aftermarket system unless you like trying too hard to impress others or you're 16 years old or you like throwing money down the drain. Me, I'm not about to mess with perfection.

No, it goes something like this: there are 10x more silverados than f150s where I live and most of them are Ford haters. It just annoys me. The ones who get a hemmoroid flare-up are the chev fanboys when they see my truck. Especially that one lifted chevy on 40" mud tires and no limiter who I encountered on the freeway who got so butthurt when he saw my truck that he got it up to 110mph just to "show me whos boss". Its not my fault that my Ford causes them so much butthurt that they'll completely disregard common sense and their own safety.

Just installed MBRP cat back dual exhaust on my 2011 5.0L, the XP series. It sounds amazing. Really makes a V8 sound like a V8. Low end rumble and it wakes people up when I hammer down! Looks good and is full stainless steel. And the fit was perfect. I have videos and pictures I have to upload sometime soon...

Doing a muffler upgrade is great for a little more sound on a budget, but nothing beats having a well-made catback system that is built for and tuned specifically for your application. The simple install is a big plus, too, for the more DIY-inclined owners!
You can typically score a quality system from one of the many vendors here on the forum for well under $1k, you just have to keep your eyes peeled for the good sales and promotions.
We offer a few catbacks with different exit styles for the 2011's that you can find here on our site:
