Default 2011 F150 LED bulbs in tail lights?

So, I tinted my tail light to dark so need some brighter tail light bulbs. Im thinking red LED's would make them bright enough to not get pulled over. What leds do my tail lights take? Want some for the red and reverse lights.

http://www.autolumination.com/3157_3156.htm I highly recommend the Eagle Eye series.

Reverse is 921

They are 3157's if I'm not mistaken. I'm ordering from this site. I ordered from here before and have been extremely satisfied. I had tinted tails on my old car and the 50w bulbs were the only thing that could make them bright enough in LED form. I spent at least double trying to find bulbs before finally spending the real money on these. I'm going to do reverse in 50w as well. Pricey but well well worth it. I highly recommend red. White does not look good and is actually less bright in red lenses, though that's only in my opinion from experience doing this to cars and trucks.

Those will be my next mod. I have 2 50w Osrams leftover from my car that I will use in my truck. I'm doing all three brake lights, reverse, and putting switchbacks in the front turn signals. Huge price ($200) but I find it to be extremely valuable for the output and life of the bulbs.

Can tell you from experience on my bike RED LED are what you want in red lenses. White won't be nearly as bright.

Just make sure you dont get white. It actually makes it less bright and more of a pinkish light rather that red

Yea I know that. Just want to know what size to get. Also, should I wet sand some of the tint off before I clear coat it?

As far as sanding that's your call. If they're very dark and you don't want to take chances then yeah I'd recommend that. The lights I recommended will be bright enough for even 15% tint

I was referring to my last question and also wandering if anyone else would chime in. I debating getting a Line of Fire by Rampage to help with the lights.
