2011 F150 Coolant Reservior Replacement
I have a 2011 F150 Eco boost and from what the mechanic says, I have a crack in my coolant reservoir where the reservoir hooks up to one of the hoses. Based on what he says, I need to replace the entire reservoir body, which is connected to my air filter. He claims it is going to run about $350 to replace. I have found a reservoir online for close to $170. Is this a job a mechanic needs to do or is this easy to replace on your own? Any help would be appreciated.

Not to say your mechanic isn't correct, but have you poked around to confirm he's correct? A VERY common leak is at the hose that connects to the reservoir. So much so that there is something called the "Pegasus Fix" - though it cost 2x the cost of the new OEM hose which is $20.
Might be worth a feel around the hose, it seems to happen in winter due to the cold.
If it ends up being the bottle, it can't be too difficult. It took me about 20 minutes to replace the hose and the engine filter and all it's glory had to be mostly removed to do that. As well as a gallon or so of coolant fluid so that it didn't leak all over me.
