Default 2010 drivers side mirror broken, replacement options?

So my driver side mirror got broken by a tree that jumped two feet over into it's way. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it)
I have black, power, heated, auto dimming (electrochromic), but not power fold mirrors. The housing is damaged, but the glass, motor, and blinker are undamaged. I'm having a hard time finding this combo, either at tascaparts.com or fordparts.com. The local dealer quoted just over $300 for it, by looking it up by VIN but wouldn't give me the part number.
Questions:
Can I buy a cheaper mirror such a power wo/heat and wo/dimming and swap the glass out for my unbroken glass?
Dealer says I can't buy just the shell without glass and mirror. Is that true?
TIA!

Dealer is right. You can not just buy a shell. Buying cheaper mirror and swapping the parts, will require wiring inside the mirror etc.

I got my PAIR of power, heated, auto darken, with turn signal mirrors off of this site in the for sale section for $300
