2009 speaker issues

2009 speaker issues
my 2009 Platinum speakers won’t work. Turn the radio on get a little pop from speakers and no sound! Radio works CD works Sync works I just can’t hear anything! Tried disconnect of battery, checked all fuses nothing! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the head unit has gone out. Dropping one or maybe even 2 speakers I'd suspect bad speakers but not all of them. if you have a local pull a part get with them, can usually get a good stereo that'll work for less than $10. Also try this used part locator both of them have optional warranties you can buy to ensure you get a working part. Other than that check in with your local audio shop for an aftermarket system.

Agree. Bad headunit. Easy to replace.
Unless your model has a premium sound option with an OEM amp downstream of the headunit, then it could be the amp.
