What do you guys think of the 09 Ram??? How would you like to have 390hp in your F150?????

I voted that "I like" only becasue it seems to be a massive improvement over their previous rams.
I am biased because I have owned many trucks and all were F series :thumbsup:, but I have never been overly impressed with the Dodge trucks.

I'm gonna say this once....I HATE anything dodge releases off of their assembly line. I've seen too many family members of mine have horrible problems with dodge vehicles and I want nothing to do with that automaker.

Yeah...not doubt. That will soon include the POS Titans too

I understand that my family MAY have had bad luck but dang. My cousing has a Chrysler van and it's junk. The interior was made at Walmart. It has just under 20K miles and the engine light came on around 5K because of a broken MAF sensor.

My uncle had a 2006 Ram and the list of problem is WAY too long to list. It's a 4x4 and it wouldn't engage in 4 lo which left him stuck but the good news is that we had a Powerstroke to pull him out!!!

My other uncle had a Durango and well nevermind.....y'all get the point. I just don't care for dodges and I'll never own one.

i agree that dodge's are POS, but i just drove the 09 and i was impressed with the Hemi, the overall interior was nice maybe because i drove the laramie (fully loaded), the dual exhaust was pretty nice too, but i would never buy one...........I'm a FORD MAN only and can't wait until the 09 FORD comes out in dealers

ohhh yeahhh the extra 90 hp would be nice in my 07 F150

I wouldn't mind having a little more power in my truck but to be honest I'm completely happy with it. I would do some things to add a little more hp under the hood but I've got several other things that my money is going too.

i like the new rams, but not more than my f150. but as far as dodges having problems, i have heard of some people having problems and then theres the story of my girlfriends mom. she got the 03 ram with 26k miles on it and gave it her first oil change at 56k miles. no issues known so far. only reason she got it changed is because i drove it and noticed the sticker.

Well, Ford F150s are going down in the looks departments
the new ram is pretty good looking, and you won't hear me say that about many newer non Ford trucks

A new dodge is fine if you enjoy going through five tranny's.

hate the looks love the engine, same for the newer fords, if i had to choose a new truck now i would go tundra or chevy all the way

i like the front end on the dodge but thats it. i think the cargo doors on the bed look ugly has hell. the hp sounds nice and would be nice in the new f150. i kinda think its a joke that the new ones are only up 10hp from the current ones. and i dont really care for the new look of the f150's. the big front end looks good but thats about it. the interior pic i saw had way to many bunched up buttons on the dash for me.

i have a cousin who has three dodges. 02 durango, 05 ram 4x4, yr ? neon. the only one he has had trouble with is the ram. it over heated due to radiator problems with only 25k. my mom had an 05 neon with 16k and it needed new ty-rods and ends. we have an 01 escort 115K and it just now needs ty-rods.

dodge suck, yeah they have power and their trannys are finaly a lil better then they used to be. i guess its better than a yota. funny thing, my moms friend had like an 05 or something like that of the cummins and got rid of it for the new 09 hemi and she said she did it for the fuel milage and i told her shes ganna get worst and not be able to tow her horses and shes all yeah i can there new technolagy is better now ill get better fuel and still pull. now shes hating the new one and cant pull $#!t. boo dodge

My employer has an 08 1 ton Dodge diesel that I drive a lot...pretty impressive & it drives very nice...interior seems ok to me....

My son in law just bought an 09 Ram Bighorn four door 4x4 with the smaller v8. I like the looks of the front end...you can't see much of the hood while driving though ...makes it harder to judge your clearance in tight spots...the road feel & steering are very good, better than my 02 F150SCab 4x4 I have to say...but not so much that I'd trade. I am betting the 04+ Fords will also be better than my F150 & better than the Dodge.

But it just feels cheaper & less durable somehow...I'd never buy one for myself...hard to beat perfection in my 02's reliability at 100k+ miles!
