For 2WD trucks Fabtech is probably the most recommended lift out there. High quality lift for not much more than the Pro Comp and it doesn't use a 6" spacer up front like Pro Comp does. I had a 6" Fabtech on my 06 2WD and I absolutely loved the quality and the look.

I'm glad you want to lift your truck, I really am. And if your just using it on the road only thats ok. Otherwise why did you not get a 4x4?

A common misconception is that 2WD trucks cannot go offroad. Can they do everything a 4WD can do? Certainly not. Is a lifted 2WD restricted to the road only though? Certainly not. An experienced driver who knows what they are doing behind the wheel can do a lot of things offroad even in a lifted 2WD. Almost the same question can be presented to a 4WD owner who lifts their truck yet never takes it offroad. Why lift it to begin with? Most lift these trucks because it makes them look 10 times better than a stock truck.
