Default 2007 f150 fx4 4x4

Hey guys, having even more 4x4 trouble. Replaced the vacuum solenoid on firewall behind battery, didnt fix it. Replaced passenger side actuator as diagnosed by mechanic, fixed for a couple uses than decided to not work again. Today replaced the driver side actuator, and still having issues. Will go in 4x4 if i reverse some, but grinds bad. Kept fiddling with it, backing up and going ahead, and stopped and put in 4x4 and had a hard jump (shook stuck snow off the truck) and continues to grind and click and not actually go in 4x4. Read up through this forum and found its either the cv joint or the wheel bearing (hub assembly) Looking for opinions. Any input helps before i decide to buy 2 of each and replace the whole thing. Thanks

Hub, Hub actuator, CV axle.
Does it make these noises with 4x4 disengaged?

It does not make the noise with 4x4 disengaged. Lifted the front end up and put in 4x4 and there was quite a bit of play on passenger side cv before it would turn, and tight on driver side. Went ahead and ordered 1 new cv and ordered 2 hubs just because it was basically cheaper for the 2.
