Default SD Location in 2011 FX2

Good Afternoon,

I might have missed this on the forum, but I wanted to know where is the SD slot is located on a 2011 FX2 so I can add a new sim card. I looked everywhere I could think of with no results. Please help.

Thanks for your answer. So is there no other way to upgrade the navigation? The Sync says it has been upgraded, but there are still streets that it doesn't recognize. This it how it looks.

Assuming you have the software upgrade handy, you should be able to utilize the USB port on the front of the unit.

This should give you step by step instructions:

Thanks The Beer Baron and DBL Boost. I am going to try both ways. I actually am downloading everything from the SD card to a thumb drive and burning it on a disc as well. I will let you know how everything goes.

Wink

You have to buy a set of DVD's for the update. It use to be called Navteq. Now it's called Here.com. It will be a set of four DVD's that update your maps, Gracenote for the music, and some other stuff. I think I payed about $150.00? If you decide to do it they will need the navigation application number. That will be located on the navigation screen in your truck on the information screen. And I think your VIN number. The latest version is V7.0. I hope that helps you some. http://allthingsnav.navigation.com/
