2000 ford f150 v6 repair question
ok so i have a 2000 ford f150 v6 with 130000 on it. the passenger side front tire had the wheel bearing cease when it was engaged in 4wd so the axle snapped and the tire fell off the junk yard can get me the parts for a 100 is it possible to repair on my own i would have to replace the axle and arm that comes down and all that is this a bolt off and on my truck or is it to complicated for me to do on my own

Jerimy it all depends on your skill level and acces to tools their is nothing you cant do with hand tools and a good service manual or preferably a buddy that has some experiance Oh and welcome to the forum.

If you have some good stands and floor jack along with some stout tools you can do it. Notice I'm not recommending a bumper jack or cement blocks. Do not underestimate the weight of your rig up front. You may have to rent some tools to get it apart and back together.

shouldnt be that hard to do if you have some basic skills. just be sure you have a big enough sockey for the axle nut, and some penatrating oil will help out a lot

Ty your loose parts up so as not to damage them by dropping from gravity too.
