Default 2000 F150 5.4 Random Multiple Misfires

Hello,

New here, please forgive if Im doing this wrong.......

2000 F150 5.4 with 186,000 miles, keeps throwing P0300 code. Truck has a consistent misfire or stutter around 1300 rpm when giving it gas lightly in park or neutral. The tach will drop and then go back up.

Replaced so far: All 8 plugs (Motorcraft), All 8 COPs (Accel, yellow ones), Fuel Filter, Serpentine Belt, IAC Valve, EGR Valve. Throttle Body gasket (removed and completely cleaned throttle body) and PCV valve.

Also had B&G fuel system cleaner performed (rip off??) And fuel pressure checked.

Checked for vacuum leaks in all the recommended places. (I think)

Have had it in to 4 different shops, 1 being the dealership........so far NO ONE can figure it out!

ANY help at all would be greatly appreciated!!!

you've done just about everything i can think of. i would probably try a mass air flow sensor or possible intake gasket. is the intake on your truck plastic or metal because i have heard of issues with the plastic intakes on the 5.4's cracking and causing leaks

Intake gasket might be the last resort!
