Maine has a 25% max window tint after that you need to get a show permit. the REAL reason why tint is not legal in states are for the cops safety. if you where a cop and where walking up to a suspected stolen car or something and could not see the drive wouldent you have your side arm unholsterd? for all you know the guy in the drivers seat has got you in his sights just waiting for you to get closer. i have 10% window tint and 99% of the cops know me where i live and down in Portland (benefit of having a mom that was on the force)

Just go in and claim headaches from bright lighting from your rear view mirrors etc, but act like your not really sure its the bright lights at first, just help the Doc come to that conclusion. I've had like 4 friends do it lol.

And I'm in Maryland BTW. Not sure if state to state has different stances on the doc note.

6000k... In SC the more blue they are the more chances you have to get pulled according to a State Transport Officer I know... I just stuck with straight up white since I replaced all of my halogens (literally) with LEDs and I'm one for detail and uniformity counts in my book...

I have 15K(purple) just on my headlights since i dnt have fogs' he gave me BS about my tailights the first time that he couldnt see my reflectors.... Ima go to the Drs office twice a week till i get it lol

well your kind of asking for it with 15k HIDs, to be honest, (sorry about sounding negative).

here in California it is a fix it ticket for the first offense, I dont know about the second one(havnt been pulled over again.)

your only option really is to just pay the ticket. At least it's not something that counts against your driving record.

Can you see with that or does it just look ricey? I've seen cheap HIDs and they look like AutoZone bs, I figure this would look similar.., does it look alright or are you blatantly asking for a ticket?

flash light duh? can you shine a flashlight in the vehicle if there is tint? no that is why there is a law in place.
