Default 2.7TT or 5.0?

I'm in line to get a 2015 the day it comes out. Should I get the 2.7TT or the 5.0?

SLAP ME NOW!

Ugh! How many threads are we going to see like this.

No, this is good. Let's get it out of our system now rather than later.

Wait until 2017 when they replace those engines, or significantly alter them.

Trust me, there will be plenty left for "later".

An EB vs. 5.0 thread? Seems hauntingly familiar.

I can't believe that they're going to put such a small engine in a truck. I bet that if you live anywhere remotely hilly and haul a bit of weight the 2.7TT will get less mpg then the 5.0 doing the same thing. That little engine won't have the grunt of a v8 and will always be relying on the turbos to create enough power to move the weight which will burn more fuel.

The turbos will over heat and fail. New technology here so no one should but it.

Take that statement, replace 2.7TT with 3.5TT, go back in time about 3-4 years and boy does that sound familiar.

Yea, that was kind of the point of my sarcasm. We are going to see the same arguments all over
