Replaced feul tank and broke nylon elbow.
Hey all -
Hope everyone had a nice Christmas.
So I finally replaced my gas tank in my truck, and when putting the nylon elbows back onto the fuel pump one of them split and was pissing fuel out of it.
I went to a couple of local auto parts stores and no one seems to carry just the elbow. So I bought one with a line attached and removed the elbow just to find out that the elbow doesn't fit . There are two nipples on the fuel pump for lines a send a return of some sort I guess? I'm not really sure as I am new to all of this.
So, my question is: how do I find out which elbow I is the correct size that I need and how the hell do I get it onto the line? Or do I have to buy an entire new fuel line with "Y" connectors and all?
As always, your help is appreciated.
