I have a 1995 ford f150, 4 wheel drive, 351 engine and E40D trans in it. Im having some trouble. When I got the truck it had a hard first to second shift and then would not go into third at all. I replaced the solenoid pack in the trans and the same thing occurred. My speedometer wasnt working so I replaced the VSS and now the truck shifts past second gear and goes up to freeway speeds, but has a very hard one two shift. Any suggestions? someone told me possibly replace the guage cluster?
